                                                             Chasing The Wind!

 

Chasing the Wind is the “Destiny” of the Love of Money!

 

It is useless; it is like chasing the wind.  It is better to be satisfied with what you have than to be always wanting something else.  (Ecclesiastes 6:9)

And don’t keep wanting more and more for yourself, which is the same as worshipping a false god.  (Colossians 3:5)

 

Greed nor the grave are ever satisfied.

Chasing the wind will leave no room to Love.

When Everything “and or”, Nothing Is Ever Enough!

God created everyone for a “purpose”; no one’s purpose is to “chase the wind”.

 

Our fallen nature drives us to “want more” and to spend most of our time, energy, efforts, and resources, that we received from God, trying to “get more”, no matter how much we’ve already got. In this country we have a capitalist financial system; it guides people’s actions to get more and more than any other single thing.  This is a problem all over the world, all through time.  It comes from the inability to be “Content” with what we’ve got.

 

Pray to God for a Contented Spirit.

A Spirit that is “Not Content” is a spirit that is “Not Thankful!

Rather we are content or uncontented is due to our Thinking.  To remember that it is “better to give than to receive” helps us to resist the temptation to Chase The Wind, by always trying to get more and more for ourselves. 

 

Our Daily Nugget 

is Solomon letting us know that it is not wise nor heathy spiritually, or physically, to allow our lives, our time, to be consumed with always wanting more and more.  Look at what Solomon says, “Do not wear yourself out to be rich, have the wisdom to show restraint”.  In other words, it’s foolish to wear yourself out “just trying to get more”!

 

Picture a person in the hot desert, running around, jumping up and down and stalking, as if he were trying to catch something; and you go ask him what are you doing?  He answers, I am trying to “Catch the Wind”, almost had it just about got it and I’m going to get it no matter what; what would you think of this guy?    

 

Ask God to Bless You With the Wisdom To

Chase After Love and Right Living and not to Chase After the Wind, 

And Watch What Happens!
