A Crown is a “Good Thing”!

 

Gray Hair is a “Crown of Splendor”; it is attained in the “way of righteousness”.  (Proverbs 16:31)

 

“Why”, Are You Covering Up Your Crown?

Do Not Leave This Question To Chance; Try Answering It.

 

Crown – Represents power, legitimacy, victory, triumph, honor, and glory, as well as immortality, righteousness, and resurrection.

 

Back to our question, “Why are you covering up your Crown”?

I Don’t Like The Gray!  Why don’t You Like the Gray?  There is “a reason” one desires to cover up their crown, and God knows Why?  Everything we do and say, is started between our ears, in our heart/mind, our Thinking Process.  Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.  Vanity is like chasing the wind.

 

Vanity – In 1 Samuel 25:1, the word “vain” literally means “a lie”, but in context it can mean “something that disappoints”.  In 2 Kings 17:15, it means “worthless”.

 

God is the one who gives us Long Enough Life to “Receive Our Crown”!

Consider what God Thinks of us when we chose to obey the demon of vanity.

Does it appear out of order to see a twenty-five-year-old set of hair on an eighty-five-year-old face?  Yes, it does.  Order is critical, there is a time for everything, including black and gray hair.  The horse and a cart will take you where you need to go, if the right order is utilized.  The horse must come before the cart.

 

There is A Way, that Seems Right!

God’s Original Design is “The Best Order” and the only “Right Order”!

 

Do you hate growing old; if so, Why?  There are three options concerning growing old, two are death and vanity.  Would you like either of these?  The other option is a “Contended and Thankful Spirit”. Our Crown of Gray Hair is a Great Blessing from God to us, and we treat it as a thing of disgust.  Consider what God Thinks of us when we do this.  Covering up our crown is a sign of weakness not strength.

 

The next time you prepare to cover up your Crown,

Ask, “What Would Jesus Do”, and ask Him to Bless You To Do That!
