Above all else, guard your heart (mind), for “everything you do flows from it”.  (Proverbs 4:23)

God’s Word Going In, Brings Holy Living Out.

 

Our Daily Nugget

is telling us that “Everything We Do” is the “Fruit” of what we “Hear and See”; therefore, we should “guard”, “protect” our heart/mind.  How does one obey our Daily Nugget?  Read The Word Daily.  What is the source of the things we hear and see?  

 

How Does One “Guard Their Heart, Mind”?

We Guard Our Heart, Mind, by being “Wise” in choosing what we allow ourselves to hear and to see; this determines “What We Think”.  What we “Think” determines what we do.  Our actions have no choice but to follow our Thinking; this is the way God made us.

 

Verses one through twenty-two is a laundry list of instructions on how to allow “Wisdom” to guide our living. In our Daily Nugget Solomon is telling us that “Above All These Wise Instructions”, we should “Guard Our Hearts/Minds”.  We have the option to be “wise or foolish”; being wise leads to life, good things; being foolish leads to death, bad things.

 

To water a plant with salt water is foolish, it will kill the plant.  

To water a plant with fresh water brings life, it wise.  To fill our heart, mind, Thinking, with foolishness will lead to death. To fill our heart, mind, with God’s Word brings life.

 

The internet is “filled with foolish and wise information”; we chose to consume foolish or wise information.  Our actions tomorrow are the fruit or the result of the information we consumed today.  We can forgive today, or we can condemn today; to forgive today brings life tomorrow; to condemn today brings death tomorrow.

 

Wisdom does not walk with Foolishness.

Guard Your Heart/Mind, Your Thinking, and enjoy the Good Fruit it produces.

                                                                       Ambassadors!   Everybody is an Ambassador of either God or Satan!   Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t “working with me” is actually working against me.  (Matthew 12:30) …And has committed to us the word of reconciliation.  Now then, we are Ambassadors for Christ….  (2 Corinthians 19 & 20)   Whose Ambassador Are You?  Look to your living!                                                         Don’t Let the Devil Ride!   If you let him ride, he’ll want to drive, so don’t let him ride!   The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made.  One day he asked the woman, Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?
