Greed.

                                                                              Greed!

The Love of Money is the Beginning of All Evil.

People who “always” want more and more are like those who “worship statues of god”.  (Ephesians 5:5)

People who are “greedy”, covetous, or worship idols should not be associated with.  (1 Corinthians 5:11)

Idolatry is “The Worship of A False god”.

We don’t have to “feel” like we are practicing idolatry, to practice idolatry.

To Always want more and more, for yourself, is the same as Practicing Idolatry.

Greed – An “excessive” and “selfish desire” for something, such as money or power,

that “goes beyond” what is needed or rightfully yours.

Our Daily Nugget

is letting us know that being Greedy is the same as worshipping a false god.  The first of the Ten Commandments is “Thou shall have no other god before Me”.  What is the difference between being “greedy” and engaging in our “capitalist system”?  Neither one is “From God”.

Greed, nor our Capitalist System leads us to understand that “It is better to give than to receive”.  Greed nor our Capitalist System has provisions for Love.  It is “extremely easy” to slide from capitalism to greed.  Greed and our capitalist system are both all about getting more and more for ourselves.  We are to work for a living.  Working for a living is not greed, it's obedience.

What’s Mine is Mine and What’s Yours is Ours!

We win people to Jesus and Live like Kingdom Citizens with a Spirit of Giving, Sharing, Caring, Doing for one another.  These things are Love, Love is the most important thing on this planet.  If it is not Love, it is Noise. Idolatry is one of the worst things on this planet.

Always Remember,

“It is Better to Give, than to Receive”.  “God Loves a Cheerful Giver”.

Ask God to Bless You With

A Spirit of Contentment: it is protection from Greed and Idolatry.
