Purpose of "The Word".

                                                        Purpose of “The Word”.

 

God’s Word lead to life, Man’s Word lead to death.

 

Your “Word” is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.  (Psalms 119:105)

 

For “The Word of God” is “Living and Active”, sharper than any two edge sword, piercing to the division of the soul and of spirit, of joints, and of marrow, and “discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart/mind”.  (Hebrews 4:12)

 

God’s Words are to make us “Be Good”, not to make us “Feel Good”.

 

New Creatures no longer are to live based on “man’s words”; for man’s words lead to death; therefore, we need to “Repent”.  To Repent means that no longer do our words determine how we live because we no longer place any Faith in our words.  This is also called “Humility”.  God “lifts up” the humble and He “humbles” the proud.  Our Words are now based on God’s Words.  Proud people choose to use their words instead of God’s Words.

 

We must Repent for God’s Words to become “Alive and Active” in “our lives”.

God’s Words will guide us to sincerity and truth.  We consume God’s Words when we “Think” on God’s Word.  The Word “knows what we have need of”, once we consume the Word, the Word will address and fulfill whatever need we have.

 

Our Daily Nugget says, The Word is a lamp for our feet and a light for our path; without The Light from The Word, we will continue to walk in darkness.  Try walking in darkness, not a good or safe situation.  Life is so much better with the light on compared to living with no light.

 

Our Words are produced from “Spiritual Activity” that we call Thinking.  The Word knows our “motives” for doing what we do and don’t do; we do not know each other’s motives; this is why we must not judge.  We do not know all the “facts” that lead people to do what they do.  The Word knows when we lie or tell the truth.

 

God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, are “One”; Jesus is often referred to as The Word and He is.  When we read the Bible, hear The Word spoken, or concentrate on the Word, it is all about Jesus.  The more of the written word, the Bible, that we consume in our heart/mind, the more we will be able to hear and obey the Holy Spirit, who directs us concerning The Word. The Word directs us from the darkness to The Light.
