Never Follow Yourself!

 

The backslider in heart (mind) “will be filled” with “His Own Ways”, but a “good man” will be satisfied from above.  (Proverbs 14:14)

 

For me to follow me is to “Reject God’s Wisdom”.

 

Our Daily Nugget

is letting us know that to be “Filled With Our Own Ways” is evidence that we are a “backslider in our heart/mind”, which means that we have rejected God’s Way to follow “Our Way”.  God’s Way leads to life, our way leads to death.

 

Backslider in Heart (Mind) – Means someone who has turned away from God.

 

We will follow whatever or whoever we “fill our heart/mind” with!  If we fill our heart/mind with God’s Word, we will follow God’s Word.  If we fill our heart/mind with the World’s Word, we will follow the “world”.  We have no choice but to follow what we fill our heart/minds with.  This the way God created us.

 

When we “Focus” on doing what the Bible says, we are following God.

When we “Focus” on what we feel like, or think, we are now, “A Backslider”. To be a backslider, we have chosen to tell God, “I think my way is better ‘for me’ then your way”.  Backslider’s will not enter the Kingdom, “Unless they Repent”. 

 

Choosing  to Repent and to Choose to Live God’s Way is to “Follow Him/Jesus”.

“This Makes Us A Good Man or Woman”!

 

Our Daily Nugget says, “A Good Man or Woman” will be “Satisfied With Good Things From Above”.  Blessings come to us because we are following Christ, curses come to us when we are “following ourselves”.  Nobody is born knowing what to do, God doesn’t Design us like that.  If we don’t “Learn”, we will remain “Unlearned”, no matter what age we are, we will remain unlearned until death.

 

To be Unlearned is natural, we are born that way,

to “Remain Unlearned” is “Foolishness” and could indicate “Stupidity”.

 

Obey Wisdom, “Follow Jesus”, 

the Bible, and Live as a Productive Kingdom Citizen, not as a “Backslider”!
