Be or Get Convicted to “Stand”!

 

Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me.  Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day.  I and my attendants will fast as you do.  When this is done, I will go to the King, even though it is against the law.  And “If I Perish, I Perish”.  (Esther 4:16)

 

If I Perish, then I Perish, But I’m Going To Meet The King. This is Conviction.

 

Our Daily Nugget

is showing us what Esther did to Be and to Get Convicted to “Stand”.

In our Natural Fallen State when we are faced with danger, we will attempt to protect ourselves using natural means; like lies, deception, withholding important information, etc.  Our Daily Nugget is showing us what Esther did to Be and to Get Convicted to “Stand”.

 

The King had issued a decree that all Jews were to be killed.  Esther was a Jew, but her husband, the King, did not know it.  Mordecai, Esther’s Uncle, was a Man of God and the King’s Advisors didn’t like Mordecai, a Jew, and contrived a scheme to have Mordecai and all Jews killed.  Mordecai told Esther to go before the King on behalf of the Jewish people. Esther was “Afraid for her Life”.

 

Instead of scumming to Fear, 

Esther Exercised Her Faith; in Fasting and Prayer; she asked “God To Help Her”.

People didn’t come before the King without the King first calling for or summoning them. To do so without being first summoned could mean immediate death.  Esther got “protected” before she went to Meet the King.  She fasted and prayed first, and had others to do so, to come to this Conviction to Stand.  Ask God for Help to Stand!

 

If We Don’t “Stand” for Something, We’ll “Fall” for Anything.

In our Natural Fallen State when we are faced with danger, we will attempt to protect our selves using natural means; like lies, deception, withholding important information, etc.  This is how the Old Creature deals with dilemmas. Our Daily Nugget is showing us what Esther did to Be and to Get Convicted to “Stand”.

 

Prayer and Fasting will send even the most “Tenacious Demons” Running.

Rely On Faith.

                                                                                       Rely On Faith. And We Will Be Blessed like Abraham.   Understand, then, that those who have “Faith” are children of Abraham.  Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by “Faith” and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:  “All nations will be blessed through you”.  So those who “Rely On Faith” are blessed along with Abraham, the man of Faith.
