The Heart of the Matter.

                                                                  The Heart of the Matter.

The Heart of the Matter is the “Heart/Mind”.

More than anything you guard, “protect your mind (heart)”, for life flows from it.  (Proverbs 4:23)

The heart (mind) is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?  (Jeremiah 17:9)

When the Heart of the Matter is Right; “The Matter Will Be Right”.

Our Daily Nugget

is God letting us know the importance of having a “Right Heart/Mind”.  The heart/mind that we are born with is “deceitful above all things” and our heart/mind is “desperately wicked”.  Most of us would not consider ourselves in such a horrible shape; but we are.

We are not good!  The Bible makes it plain; we are born in sin and shaped in iniquity.  We are born selfish and inconsiderate; without a new heart/mind, we will live and die selfish and inconsiderate.

The Lord Gives Kingdom Citizens a “New Heart/Mind”.

I will give you a “New Heart (Mind) and put a new spirit within you”; I will take the “heart (mind) of stone” out of your flesh and give you a “Heart (mind) of flesh.  (Ezekiel 36:26). This occurs when we are Born Again.

With a new heart/mind “What We Think” will produce “Righteous Thoughts”.  Our thoughts are the beginning of What we Do and What we Don’t Do.  Look at what Solomon said about the “Heart/Mind/Thinking”.

As a man “Thinks in his Heart (Mind)”, So Is He.  (Proverbs 23:7)

We protect our heart/mind by consuming the Right Information into our Heart/Mind.  The Bible is the source of our “Right Information”.  We must hold everything up to the Light of God’s Word. What occurs in our heart/mind is “Spiritual Activity”; the Spirit World “Controls the Physical World”.  Trusting God is Spiritual Activity; the fruit of this spiritual activity unfolds in Holy Living.

We Control What we Think, then, What we Think Controls Us!

The Heart of the Matter, “Is The Heart”!
