That Which is Untamed is Dangerous!


The tongue also is a fire, “a world of evil” among the parts of the body.  It “corrupts the whole body”, “sets the whole course of one’s life on fire” and is itself set on fire by hell.  All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by man, but no man can tame the tongue.  It is a restless “evil”, full of deadly poison.  (James 3:6-8)


 “You will See what you Say”!

What we say, is A Barometer of “Who We Are”.

One of the best things we can do for ourself is to “Shut Up, Button It”!


To “always” desire to put your two cents in is a sign of an “Untamed Tongue”.  An untamed tongue is the “Fruit of a Demonic Controlled Heart/Mind”.  An untamed tongue will occur the more junk food/thinking, we consume.  God’s Word is like Organic Health Food, for our Heart/Mind.  The Bible says, if your tongue is untamed, your religion is in vain.


Our Daily Nugget says, our tongue is a “Restless Evil”.

“Doing evil” is the fruit of “wicked thinking” of the heart/mind; the untamed tongue speaking is the “evil”.  Remember, evil is the “action arm” of wicked thinking.  Being or doing evil occurs after we think of hurtful, harmful, bad things , which are wickedness, to do to a person.


The Tongue is Tamed by the Word.  Everything you need is in the tongue!

Sincerity and Truth are required in our heart/mind, before the tongue will be tamed.


Death and Life is in the power of the tongue.  It’s a flame of fire; a world of wickedness.  Be Careful what you say.  We are made by Words.  Words can hold things together or break things apart. Words used right can do you so much good. Words used wrong can do so much damage.  An untamed tongue is “not to be trusted”.  An untamed tongue will lie quicker than the heart can beat.


God works against the Untamed Tongue.

A Good Life, a healthy household, a healthy body of Believers, a life of victory over self, is some of the Fruit of a Tamed Tongue.  A untamed tongue will bring division, problems, anger, a bad life, and a easy victim for satan to control.


A Heart/Mind “Saturated” with God’s Word leads to Love, 

“Love Will Tame the Tongue”!

Rely On Faith.

                                                                                       Rely On Faith. And We Will Be Blessed like Abraham.   Understand, then, that those who have “Faith” are children of Abraham.  Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by “Faith” and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:  “All nations will be blessed through you”.  So those who “Rely On Faith” are blessed along with Abraham, the man of Faith.
