Sincerity and Truth or Lies and Deception?


Evil people listen to evil ideas, and “liars listen to lies”.  (Proverbs 17:4)

If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials are wicked.  (Proverbs 29:12)


Sincerity and Truth “Walks With” Honesty and Integrity, not with Liars.


Our Daily Nugget

is letting us know that “Birds of a Feather Flock Together”.  Honest people do not like hanging with dishonest people.  Liars do not like discussing things with people who “Speak the Truth”.  When all the officials of a lying ruler are in place, then “All His Officials ‘Will Be’ Wicked” and the Nation will eat the Fruit of lying and deception.  The fruit is never good nor healthy.


What’s the problem when a nation’s ruler is a Liar and all his officials are Wicked?


To answer this question, let us examine the definitions of “evil, wicked”, and the fruit that evil and wicked produces.  Ask one hundred people, “are you wicked and or evil”; chances are all one hundred would say “no”.

 

Evil - “Anything” that opposes God’s will, including “morally wrong actions”, 

          “sinful behavior”, and “Anything that Causes Harm or Distress”.  The action 

           arm of wicked.  If we do things like this, we are evil.

Wicked - The “state of being” morally wrong, evil, or in opposition to God’s Will.


Therefore, when a ruler is a person who trust and depends on lies, “All His Officials Will Be Wicked”.  God chooses the lying rulers and the rulers who speak the Truth to govern the people.  When the people please God, He will send a Honest Leader who walks with Sincerity and Truth; when God is displeased with a nation, “He sends rulers who depend on deception and lying”, God uses lying rulers as a “Whipping Stick” to turn around a rebellious people. 

 

Sincerity and Truth in a Ruler is what the people should fast and pray for.  Nineveh Repented and God chose not to destroy the people.  God is still sending Lying Rulers to Rebellious Nations Today; to be used as a Whipping Stick”.  God is no respecter of people nor nations.


The Options for a People Whose Ruler is a “Liar”!

Repent, Fast, and Pray to God to Change the Rulers, heart/mind before destruction.
