Love.

                                                                                   Love.

The “Backbone” to Christianity!

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have Love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.  If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have Faith that can move mountains, but do not: Love, I am nothing.  If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have Love, “I Gain Nothing”.   (1 Corinthians 13:1-4)

In our Daily Nugget, Paul is saying;

If we Do Not Love, “We Cannot Represent Jesus the Christ”.

Love is where the Rubber meets the road; if it is Not Love, it is “Just Noise”.

Love - A selfless, sacrificial, and compassionate “Action”, rather than “just a feeling”.  It emphasizes putting the “needs of others” “before one’s own” and is often described as patient, kind, and forgiving.

When we Refuse to Love,

we are not Tough, but “Very Weak” and “Very Selfish”, and “Very Lost”!

Real men and real women, “Love to Love”.  Without Love, we could not put up with one another; we will have to always find new friends until we die; nor would we “Do” for one another, due to the Spirit of Selfishness.

Do We Love the Lord or are we like The Rich Young Ruler?

If the Lord said to you, “Sell All You Have Been Given and Give It to the Poor and come Follow Me”; “What Would You Do”?  If you love the world, you’d go away sad like the Rich Young Ruler who chose the World (stuff) over the Word (Love).  If you Love the Word over the World, you’d sell all that God had given you and give it to the poor; if you don’t Love the Word over the world, you wont.

These “Acts of Love” is Light for a “Dark World”; the Light Draws people to Jesus, the Acts of Darkness run people away from Jesus.  God see what we do and don’t do; we will receive rewards, blessings, and get to see our neighbors receive Salvation, due to, our Obedience to Love.

Be a “Backbone for Jesus”; “LOVE”!
