                                                                           It Is Written!


The Word Is “Enough”!


Jesus answered, “It Is Written”: Man shall not live on bread alone, but on “Every Word” that comes from the mouth of God.  (Matthew 4:4)


Then Jesus answered him, “It is also written”: Do not put the Lord your God to the test.  (Matthew 4:7)


Jesus said to him, Away from me, Satan!  For it is written: “Worship the Lord your God, and Serve Him Only”.  (Matthew 4:10)


There is Salvation, “Saving Power”, In The Word.

God “Cannot Lie” and What He Says; “Shall Surely Come to Pass”.


Our Daily Nugget

is Jesus’ Response to Satan attempts to get Him to “Do Differently Than What God Told Him To Do”, in The Written Word.  Jesus used The Word, the Bible, to protect Himself from Satan’s temptations, and “So Must We”. 


When we use the Word, Satan immediately recognizes us as a Kingdom Citizen and “He Must Flee”.  When Satan approached Eve, she did not use God’s Words, she used her words.  When we use our words, Satan knows that he has got us exactly where he wants us; “Alone With No Power”.  He says, another smart one.


We are not as smart as we would like to think we are.

Remember, that “Own our Own” we can do “No Good Thing”.


Scripture instructs us to “Never Lean To Our Own Understanding”, but to simply “Obey The Lord and Refuse To Do Wrong”.  To lean to our own understanding is Due to “Pride”; pride comes before the fall.  Leaning to our own understanding and a humbled heart/mind cannot dwell in the same person at the same time.  To lean to our own understanding is a “Road to Death”.  Ask Eve, if you don’t believe that.


Everyone wants a life of joy and rejoicing; “Remembering” that It Is Written is Victory over Satan’s efforts to get us to “Walk, Live” in disobedience to God.  Satan is roaming to and fro throughout the earth, “Seeking People to Devour”.  Satan is looking for the heart/mind that “Forgets That It Is Written”.  To Forget that it is Written leaves us and our household “Defenseless” against Satan’s efforts.


The Written Word is Light, 

Turn It On and Watch The Darkness Flee!

Care.
