Profit
Profit.
There is Godly Profit and Worldly Profit.
For what shall it “Profit” a man, if he shall “gain the whole world”, and “lose his own soul”? (Mark 8:36)
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let “Nothing Move You”. Always give yourselves fully “to the work of the Lord”, because you know that “Your Labor in the Lord Is Not In Vain”. (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Salvation is the only “Profit” for a man with “A Lost Soul”.
Our Daily Nugget
is letting us know that “We All Are Going To Reap A Profit for Our Work”. Will our Profit be a worldly profit; which is temporary and will not be able to stand the Test. The Test is, Did I do my work for Me (Pleasure) or for Jesus (Love)?
Godly Profit - A Divine Gain. It is all about “Giving”.
Worldly Profit - A Financial gain. It is all about “Getting”.
God says “It Is Better To Give Than To Receive”
Only What We Do For Christ Will Last and Be Counted In The End!
What we are “Working For” should be very clear in our heart/mind, “before we start the work”, this is wisdom. Equate this “wisdom” with us rising in the morning from our nights sleep; each day is filled with work. When you rise in the morning and prepare for work; are your preparing for work to produce a Godly Profit or are you preparing for work that will produce a Worldly Profit.
Do you “Believe and Live”
the scripture that says, “It is Better to Give than to Receive”?
When Godly Profit is placed in the “Back Seat” behind Worldly Profit; “God is Not Pleased”, because we have made Worldly Profit our “god”, God said that we are to have No “other god” before Him. To do this makes God our enemy.
God asked Solomon, What Would You Like Me To Give You? Solomon asked for Wisdom to Guide and Lead His People. Solomon asked for something that he might have “To Give”, he did not ask for financial gain for himself.
When we Seek to fill the needs of others, “To Love”;
God Seeks to Fill Our Needs with Godly and with Worldly “Profit”.
