Pleasure.

                                                                             Pleasure.

In whom or what do you seek “Pleasure”?

Laughter, I said, is madness.  And what does pleasure accomplish?  (Ecclesiastes 2:2)

To the person who Pleases Him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner He gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God.  This to is Meaningless, A Chasing After the Wind.  (Ecclesiastes 2:26)

“Please God” and God Will Please You with,

Wisdom, Knowledge and Happiness.  This is True Pleasure.

Our Daily Nugget

let’s us know that seeking Pleasure in anything other than “Pleasing God” is Meaningless, just like Chasing The Wind.  Picture yourself “Chasing The Wind”.  The Goal of the Kingdom Citizens, first and foremost is to “Please God”.  Things that Please God are justice, righteousness, and the spiritual well-being or faithfulness of His people.

When We Please God,

He will make known to us “The Path of Life” and “He Fills us with Joy”..

You make known to me the “Path of Life”; you will “fill me with joy in your presence, with Eternal Pleasures at your right hand”.  (Psalms 16:11)

Pleasure - Delight, joy, or a sense of deep satisfaction.

God wants us to Seek our Pleasure in Him; when we seek pleasure in anyone or anything other than Him, He becomes Jealous.  Our natural, fallen self, will seek pleasure in things of the world and satisfying the desires of the flesh.

Obedience to religion and tradition does not qualify us for this Pleasure; we must Obey The Bible.  Obedience to the Bible is what Pleases God.   When we Please God, He gives us wisdom, knowledge and happiness.  But to the sinner He gives “The Task of Gathering and Storing up Wealth” “To Hand it Over to the One Who Pleases God”.

Is Your Life Dominated with the “Task” of Getting More and More?

Seek your Pleasure in the Lord; not in the “Task” of Getting More and More.
