We Show Belief and Repentance.


Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that Believeth on me, the Works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.    And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, “That Will I Do”, that the Father may be glorified in my name, I will do it.  If ye love me “keep my commandments”.  (John 14:12-15)


Our Works Do Not Save Us, they are Evidence that we are Saved.

Jesus had just finished sending Judas off to “Betray Him”, Peter had just told Jesus that he was willing to die for Him, Jesus said to him that you were going to “Deny that you even Know Me”.  Trying to get those living in darkness to turn to the Light is not easy, it wasn’t easy for Jesus and it will not be easy for us either.  Jesus had to “Bare His Cross” and all of His Followers “must bare their Cross”.  There is A Cross for everyone.


The Works are Found in the Bible, “Not In Religion, nor Tradition”.


“The Works” 

that Christians Do, is light for a dark world.  The Works that Christians do is Love.  Love is Light and Life for the lost.  Jesus Loved us and became Light for us.  Now we are to become light for other people, the way Jesus was Light for us.  Sin and disobedience “covers the light”, preventing God’s Light of Love from Shinning through our Works, (our living).


Believe - To place deep trust, reliance, and personal commitment in God, “going far beyond simple mental agreements of

                facts. We “Do Works according to What We Believe”. 


When we Believe on Jesus; this Belief Leads us to do The Works that Jesus did and even greater works.  We must Believe that Jesus told the Truth when He said, we shall do greater works than Him; don’t try to figure it out, “Just Believe” and watch it occur.


We Have not because we ask not; “Ask and Ye Shall Receive”.

We make this statement real when we Do The Works.  The Works is Love.
