What Are You "Hungry For"?

Jesus said, “My food" is to do what the one who sent me wants me to do. "My food" is to finish the work that he gave me to do.   When you plant, you always say, ‘Four more months to wait before we gather the grain.’ But I tell you, open your eyes, and look at the fields. They are ready for harvesting now.  (John 4:34-35)   What Are You “Hungry” For?   Jesus was hungry for Kingdom Things, not Worldly Things! That which you are hungry for is what you will “Occupy” your “Life” with!   There is “Organic” food and there is “Nonorganic Food”! Organic food is natural, unaltered by man. Nonorganic food is unnatural, it has been altered by man. Organic food is healthy for us, nonorganic food is not healthy for us.   Concerning our Daily Nugget: Organic food is symbolic of us living “to do God’s Will”, being hungry to do what God created us to do, to live our purpose, to walk in the light, to finish the work. Nonorganic food is symbolic of us living “to do Our W...

He Lives - "That's All You Need To Know"!

For I resolved to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.     (1 Corinthians 2:2)   He Lives! “That’s All You Need To Know”!   Our Daily Nugget is Paul explaining to the Church at Corinth that he did not come to “impress people” with big words, and clever strategies that the people would find favor in him.  Paul is telling the people and us, that all you need to know is that “He Lives”.  Jesus the Christ, the Word, is “enough”.   Being consciously aware  that He Lives gives us the ability to walk on by Faith.   Corinth was similar in many ways to the United States.  Corinth was a rich society; the people enjoyed much material goods and thought very highly of themselves.  They were always seeking people who would stroke them and impress them with  eloquent words and percepts.  The people were always learning, but not doing.    Listening to some people, if you do ...

The Sun and Moon Obeyed A Man!

On that day the   Lord   gave Israel the victory against the Amorites. Joshua stood before all the Israelites and said to the   Lord : "Sun, stop over Gibeon.    Moon, stand still over the Valley of Aijalon.”  So, the sun did not move, and the moon stopped until the people defeated their enemies. This story is written in the   Book of Jashar . The sun stopped in the middle of the sky. It did not move for a full day.  That had never happened before, and it has never happened again.  That was the day the Lord obeyed a man.  The Lord really was fighting for Israel!  (Joshua 10:12-14)     The Sun & Moon Obeyed A Man!   Nothing is too hard for God! “Whatever” we want, “Ask God For It”; He Loves Us!   Our Daily Nugget occurs as God was fulfilling his promise of giving Israel the Promised Land.  There were people living in the land when God promised that land to Israel, therefore, before God could giv...

Even Now - You Can Save Me!

And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid.     ‘Standstill’, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today.     For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.     ‘The Lord will fight for you’ and you shall hold your peace”.     (Exodus 14:13&14)   Even Now - You Can Save Me!   Nothing is “Too Hard” for God to “Save Us” From! It is “Never Too Late” for God’s Salvation, to Save Us From Our Dilemma!   We must “Trust”, “Standstill”!  Kingdom Citizens don’t worry, we Trust! Kingdom Citizens lives by “Faith” and not by “Sight”! We must focus on God’s Salvation; we must not focus on our dilemma.   In Our Daily Nugget Pharaoh, the King of Egypt, had let the people of Israel go free from slavery.  Through many “unnatural events” God made Pharaoh let the people go.  Then God hardened Pharaoh’s heart to go get Israel and bring them back to continue...

The Demon of "Get Mo"!

So, put everything evil out of your life: sexual sin, doing anything immoral, letting sinful thoughts control you, and wanting things that are wrong.     And don’t keep wanting “more and more” for yourself, “which is the same as worshipping a false god”.     (Colossians 3:5)   The Demon of “Get Mo”!    Our Daily Nugget  is telling us that, to want more and more “always” for ourself is idolatry,  the same as worshipping a false god.   In our society, we do not look at our “desire” to get more and more for ourselves as a “bad” thing.  Actually, we look at it as a bad thing if you do not have a desire to get more and more for yourself.  According to God’s Instruction Manual, the Bible, to always want more and more for ourselves is idolatry, the same as worshiping a false god.   The first of the Ten Commandments, Thou shall have no other “god” before me. To always want more and more for ourselves is to live in disobe...

Die Empty!

I “finished” “the work” you gave me to do.     I brought you “glory” on earth.     (John 17:4)   Die Empty!   The “Pathway” to “True Happiness”! This should be the “goal” of each Kingdom Citizen! Living a life, trying to die empty leads to “True Happiness”!   In the book of John, chapter seventeen, Jesus prays for himself and his followers, the disciples, and for those who believed the “words”, the message, he gave to them.   Jesus said, whatever you want, ask God for it.  A wise prayer, Lord, bless me to “die empty”.  This prayer will place you on the road to true happiness.  This is a prayer that God will honor.  “The words” in the prayers of the “righteous” works.   “Words” have “creative power”! “Words” lead to life and or death!   God created each one of us with a “purpose”, a “work” to do. Jesus said to us, “the things I do, you shall do also and even greater things”!   “See” yourself do...

Why Me?

The   Lord   said to Moses, “You will die soon. And after you have gone to be with your ancestors, these people will not continue to be faithful to me. They will break the agreement I made with them. They will leave me and begin worshiping other gods—the false gods of the land where they are going.     At that time I will become very angry with them, and I will leave them. I will refuse to help them, and they will be destroyed. Terrible things will happen to them, and they will have many troubles. Then they will say, ‘These bad things happened to us because our God is not with us.’ And I will refuse to help them because they have done evil and worshipped other gods.  ( Deuteronomy 31:16-18) Why Me? It is “Due to Your Sins”! The people of Israel knew, “why me”?   Normally this is a question we ask ourselves when all kinds of problems and issues are going on in our life.  God had given Israel “much material things”; we would say, “life is good”....
