Patience's "Perfect Work".

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But   let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (James 1:2-4) Consider it pure joy, my brothers, and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,     because you know that the testing of your faith   produces perseverance.   Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature   and complete, not lacking anything.   (James 1:2-4)   Patience’s “Perfect Work”.   I heard a man say, I want patience and I want patience “Right Now”!   Our Daily Nugget is James teaching us about “Trails and Temptations!   Facts of Life. Trails and temptations come to “Make Us Strong” & Trouble don’t “Last Always”.   James is letting us know the  “True Value from Trails and Temptations” and why we should consider them as “Pure Joy” with a “Thankful Heart and Mind”!   Therefore, we should view trails as “assets” not as “liabilit

Deluded to Delusion.

For this reason, God sends them   a powerful delusion   so that they will believe “the lie”  and so that all will be condemned who have not believed “the truth” but “have delighted in wickedness”.  (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12)   Deluded to Delusion.   Since God Loves Everybody,  “Why Would He Send” a “Deluding Spirit on Someone”? The people “believed a lie” about Jesus and rejected “The Truth” about Jesus.   God sent The Truth to the people through Paul to Protect Them from The Lie Before He Brought Destruction; that they might repent and be saved. There is never a good reason to continue to believe a lie.   Definitions: Deluded - Believing something that is not true. The lie.  (We are held responsible by God to know The Truth). Delusion - A false belief or judgment about external reality, held despite   incontrovertible   evidence to the contrary, occurring especially in mental conditions, the heart/mind. Delighted - Feeling or showing great pleasure. Wickedness - “Bad”, “worthless”, “co

Never Alone.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are   “with me” ; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.     (Psalms 23:4) Never Alone.   It would be considered negligence for a parent to leave their child “alone”.   Our Daily Nugget  is part of David’s acknowledgement that “The Lord is His Shepherd” and “The Lord is Our Shepherd”.   David, as a young lad and as King, went through many hardships where he had to depend on God. Throughout his life he created a legacy of depending on and trusting God to fight his battles or to give him the strength to fight his battles.  Practice makes perfect; practice made trusting God perfect for David and practice will make perfect, us trusting God.   God is the same God, if we live like David lived, we’ll cultivate our faith like David cultivated his faith. Hence, we will “fear no evil”, for we will know that God/Love is “With Us”. There is no fear in Love.   There is not a doubt in David’s heart/mind, that “The Lord wa

Please the Lord - Desire Your Purpose.

Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number.     So, give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this.  (1 Kings 3:8&10) Please the Lord – Desire Your Purpose.   In Our Daily Nugget King David, Solomon’s father had died, and Solomon  was made King.  The Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said,  “Ask for Whatever You Want Me to Give You”.   If the Lord appeared to us in a dream and said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you”.  What would we ask for?  The Bible says that the mouth speaks what the heart/mind is full of.  The “words” Solomon spoke was due to what his heart/mind was full of.  Solomon’s Words, his answer “Pleased the Lord”.   When God is pleased with us,  good things happen to us; when God is displeased with us bad things happen to us.   S

Love or Just Noise?

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?     (1 John 4:20)   Love or Just Noise?   If it “Ain’t Love”, it is “Just Noise”.   To Love Your Neighbor as You Love Yourself, or  To Be A Good Steward Over Money.    “Which Is More Important To God and Which Is More Important To You?”   That which is outside of Love is Just Noise!  Let us examine scripture.   1 Corinthians 13:1-8 If I speak in the tongues   of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.   If I have the gift of prophecy   and can fathom all mysteries   and all knowledge,   and if I have a faith   that can move mountains,   but do not have love, I am nothing.   If I give all I possess to the poor   and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,   but do not have love, I gain nothing.   Love is patient,   love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it

You Lose Your "Fear" When God Is "Near"!

God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.   (1 John 4:16) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.   (1 John 4:18)   You Lose Your “Fear” When God Is “Near”!   God  “is”  Light and “In Him”  “is”  No Darkness. Light and darkness cannot occupy the same place at the same time.   Our Daily Nugget says, “God Is Love”. Our Daily Nugget also says, “There is No Fear in Love (God).   Love Is All You Need!   Facts of Life: Fear is sin and it is from Satan. God did not give us a spirit of fear. When the Light comes, the darkness knows that it “must go”. It is impossible for the darkness to stay when the light comes. Fear is darkness, darkness (fear) knows that it cannot be where the Light is. You walk into a dark room and turn on the light the darkness will leave every time.   There is “No” fear in Love; and God is Love. This is really all we need to know.  Living this fac

Protected Through "Faith".

God’s power “protects you through your faith”, and it keeps you safe until your salvation comes. That salvation is ready to be given to you at the end of time.  (1 Peter 1:5) In addition to all of these, “hold up the shield of faith” to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. (Ephesians 6:16)   Protected Through “Faith”.   Faith   means relying completely on who Jesus is and what he has done to  have made us  right with God .  Trust In and Loyalty to God.   God tells us that, He has given Jesus “All Power” in Heaven and on Earth.   We all “know” that Jesus is “able”. But do we all “trust” Him to Protect Us? God “has given” each one of us, “a Measure of Faith”. Trusting Jesus to handle things is our way of  “Holding Up The Shield of Faith” and “Exercising Our Measure of Faith”.   Our Daily Nugget is God encouraging us today to “Walk on By Faith”.   Before we Fret or Chose Our Way, “Pray”.  Ask God for “Help”. This honors God and is evidence that humility reins in our heart/mind. God humbles
