                                                                   The Heart of the Matter. The Heart of the Matter is the “Heart/Mind”. More than anything you guard, “protect your mind (heart)”, for life flows from it.  (Proverbs 4:23) The heart (mind) is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?  (Jeremiah 17:9) When the Heart of the Matter is Right; “The Matter Will Be Right”. The tongue also is a fire, “a world of evil” among the parts of the body.  It “corrupts the whole body”, “sets the whole course of one’s life on fire” and is itself set on fire by hell.  All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by man, but no man can tame the tongue.  It is a restless “evil”, full of deadly poison.  (James 3:6-8)  “ You will See what you Say”!                                                                       The Fruit of “Giving”. Giving to The Lord First, “Blesses the Fruit”. And Elijah said to her, “Do not Fear”; go and do as you have said, “but make me a small cake from it first”, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.  (1 Kings 17:13) The less we have when we give, “The Greater the Fruit”. When we Love the World, we will never have enough to give. There is a song that says, “You Can’t Beat God Giving; No Matter How You Try”!  The Bible says, that “It is better to Give than to Receive”; Knowing this fact and not doing this fact will not bear fruit.  Knowing this fact and doing, living, this fact will produce all kinds of good fruit in our lives.  God will meet our needs. Do not merely “listen” to the word, and so deceive yourselves.  “Do” what it says.  Anyone who listen to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.  But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, “And Continue In It” - not forgetting what they have heard, But Doing It - They Will Be Blessed in what they Do.                                                                            What Saves? Trusting God (Faith) or Figuring it Out? If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord”, and “Believe in your Heart (Mind)” that God raised him from the dead, “you will be saved”.  For it is with the heart (mind) that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you “profess your ‘Faith’ and are saved”.  (Romans 10:9-10) The Mouth Speaks what the Heart/Mind is Filled With.                                                                     Where Is Your Father? Christianity or Laws and Traditions? Jesus responds to the Pharisees’ question, “Where Is Your Father”? By stating, “You do not know Me or My Father".  If you knew Me, you would know my Father also.  (John 8:19) Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is Love.  (1 John 4:8) If we do not Know Jesus, we do not Know the Father! If we do not Love God and our Neighbor, we do not Know Jesus or God! The Pharisees are people who “Claim to Know God”, they are Very Religious, their Big Problem is “They Do Not ‘Love’ The Lord nor do they Love their Neighbor”; therefore, they cannot know Jesus.  Don’t fool yourself until you hear Jesus say, depart from me you wicked person, “I Never Knew You”.   ...
