Shrewd.
Shrewd.
Shrewd can be “Good or Bad”.
Behold, I am sending you out like sheep among wolves; therefore be as “Shrewd” as snakes “and” as innocent as doves. (Matthew 10:16)
The Shrewd Manager “Did Not Love”; God was Not Pleased!
There is Divine and Demonic Shrewdness!
Shrewd - Having or showing sharp powers of “Judgement”, being astute or clever, often in a way that is both wise and prudent, but can also imply cunning or deceit.
Our Daily Nugget
says, we are to be as shrewd as snakes, “But”, as innocent as doves. To Love a person will “Keep our Actions” “Innocent” toward that person as long as we are “Acting Out Of Love”.
A Shrewd Spirit can be used for Good or for Bad; it can be used to Build Up God’s Kingdom on earth or to Work against God’s Kingdom on earth. A Shrewd Spirit is protection for the Kingdom Citizens from wicked and evil people. A Shrew Spirit guiding a person can bring Life or Death to the individual and to their households.
Our Shrewd actions will be Blessed or Cursed by God. A popular bible verse about the Shrewd Manager; shows how a manager used his Shrewd Spirit, this was displeasing to God. This manager was accused of cheating the owner; the owner called for inventory of the manager’s work. The Shrewd manager called the people his boss owed money to and told them to pay half of what was owed and he would mark their debt as “paid in full”; this gave him favor with people who could hire him after his boss fired him for stealing.
This type of Shrewdness is “Not Blessed by God”. This is being “slick and sly”, “Not Godly”. The manager is required to love his boss as he love himself; the manager would not want an employee to cheat him like that; therefore his actions where “Sinful”, even though he had another job lined up; He Sinned by doing this.
To get Over is not the same as Getting Ahead. It doesn’t matter much money we gain from our shrewd spirit; we are “Still Not Ahead”. God does not bless our money when we obtain it in sinful, unjust, unfair ways; He curses it.
God is “Not Mocked”, We Will Receive “What We Sow”!
