                                                                            That Day. Prepare for That Day, Today; Repent. Even the bravest warriors will flee on “That Day”, declares the Lord.   (Amos 2:18) We run from our sins until “That Day”; When Payment is Due. Our Daily Nugget is the Prophet Amos, letting us know That Pay Day is coming.   God is slow to punish us because He is giving us time and opportunity to repent of our sins and of our wrong doing.   If we are enjoying Sin and Wrongdoing today, just remember that “That Day” is coming.   There is a “That Day” for all sin and for all obedience.                                                                            Love or Use? Love people and Use money. Don’t Love money and Use people. No one can serve two masters.   Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to one and despise the other.   You cannot serve both God and money.   (Matthew 6:24) But if we have food and clothing, we will be “Content” with that. What causes fights and quarrels among you?   Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you?   You desire but do not have, so you kill.   (James 4:1-2) A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel.   Proverbs 15:18) The Bible Teaches that Conflict   “often stems from selfish desires”, but call Believers to pursue peace,   control their speech, and seek reconciliation.    Let the Lord Rebuke people.
