Obedience and Disobedience.

Obedience and Disobedience.   Obedience and Disobedience Bear Fruit.   For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.  (Romans 5:19)   “Life and Death”, the “Fruit” of Obedience and Disobedience.   Obedience and disobedience are like seeds planted in life, they produce the fruit of life and death.  The Bible is our Instruction Manual concerning what is obedience and what is disobedience. The fruit are eaten by us, our households, and the people we interact with. To obey the Bible, produce the fruit of Life; to disobey the Bible produce the fruit of Death.   Our Daily Nugget is telling us that “We Have a Choice” today to be Adam or Jesus to a lost world.   If we choose to be Adam, we will live for self, doing what we want instead of what God commands.  We will not Love the Lord nor will we love our neighbors as we love ourse

The Spirit of Nineveh.

The Spirit of Nineveh.   Says to us today; “Repent and Be Saved”!   When “Jonah’s Warning” reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in dust.  (Jonah 3:6)   The Body Follows the Head. The King demonstrated a “Repented Spirit”. Humility – Is the Evidence of a “Repented Heart/Mind”. When the Man of God brought The Word, they “Repented and was Saved”!   Repent – To make a “change” of mind, heart, and action, by turning away from sin,                and self and returning to God.   The King’s physical action showed Inward Change. This is the Spirit of Nineveh after them Hearing God’s Message. Before hearing God’s Message Nineveh was a lot like the United States. Very rich, many gods, people spent much time in pleasure, and forgot God.   God would rather forgive a repented spirit, then punish a rebellious heart. God had come to the end of His rope wit

Unity.

Unity.   The Power and Wisdom in “Unity”!   For where two or three are gathered together “In My Name”, “I am there among them”.  (Matthew 18:20) Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.  (Ecclesiastes 4:12)   Our Daily Nuggets are giving us two examples of the Power and Wisdom in being “Unified in Jesus Name”. Satan knows the power and wisdom that comes in Kingdom Citizens being unified in Jesus Name; we will be able to do “Anything Good”.  The power of Unity works even for wickedness and evil, although God will bring their efforts to naught.   The people were unified in wanting a king to lead them instead of God; that is a bad thing.  They wanted to be like everybody else, they did not want to be “peculiar”.  God gave them the bad thing; it came to naught.  Focusing on self  will always prevent “Unity” in your heart/mind, for a selfish spirit

Disgrace!

Disgrace!   The Spirit of Wickedness leads to Disgrace!   When wickedness comes, contempt comes also, and with dishonor comes disgrace.  (Proverbs 18:3)   There is no “peace” for the wicked saith the Lord. Are you glad you are not wicked?  Do you know anyone who is? Wickedness is thinking, mental; evil is the “Action Arm” of Wicked Thinking.   “Study”, so that you will “Know”. My People Perish for “Lack of Knowledge”! Contempt – The feeling that a person or a thing is beneath consideration, worthless, or deserving scorn. Disgrace – Loss of reputation or respect due to a dishonorable action.  Dishonor – A state of shame or disgrace. Honor – Showing esteem for one deserving of respect, attention, or obedience. Wickedness – “Thinking” of bad, hurtful, wrong things to do to people.  A “mental” disregard for justice, righteousness, truth, honor, virtue; evil in life.   Our Daily Nugget is a challenge to us to “Examine

You Are the Best Thing.

                                                             You Are the Best Thing.   You Are the Best Thing; That Has Ever Happened to Me.   But what things “were gain to me”, those I counted loss for Christ.  Yea doubtless, and I count “all things but loss” “for the excellency of the ‘knowledge’ of Christ Jesus my Lord”: for whom I have suffered the loss of “all things”, and do count them dung, “That I May Win Christ”.  (Philippians 3:7-8)   The More we Love Jesus, the Less we Love the world! Can’t imagine life without the world, chances are we Love the world over the Word.   Our Daily Nugget and Title is letting us know the “Mentality” of the individual once they “Chose” the “Word over the World”.  When we place Jesus at the head and place Him on the “Throne of our Life”, our Thinking; “everything” that was at the head and on the throne, is now considered as insignificant as “dung”.   The Deception of Riches Concerning the Word.   The rich young ruler did not have this “Mentality”;

Are You A Man Yet?

Are You A Man Yet?   Become Who You Are! “Love”! You say, “I Believe”, you say well; “Now Go Live It”!   I have given you milk to drink, not meat, for ye have not been able, nor indeed are ye yet able.  (1Corinthians 3:2) When I was a child, I “spoke” as a child, I “understood” as a child, I “thought” as a child: but ,When I Became a Man, I Put Away Childish things.  (1 Corinthians 13:11)   Men no longer require Milk, the World.  Men have “chosen” to eat Meat, the Word, the Bible.   Our Daily Nugget is telling us that “children” do childish things and “adults” do adult things.  To see a thirty-year-old man with a beard; carrying a baby bottle, a pacifier, wearing diapers, and crawling around on the floor, saying goo-goo, gaa-gaa; we will know immediately that this fellow has a “maturing problem”.   We speak to Kingdom Citizens with meat, we speak to unbelievers, children, with milk.  Spiritual matters are foolishness to chi

Best Efforts.

Best Efforts.   Even our Best Efforts are like Filthy Rags Before God.   When we put on our most prized robes of “righteousness”, we find they are but filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6) But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after “righteousness”, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.  (1 Timothy 6:11)   But “God Still Wants Our Best Efforts”. Our Best Efforts are “Due To” what’s going on in our “Heart/Mind”. Our Worst Efforts are “Due To” what’s going on in our “Heart/Mind”. We can and would be wise to “Control” what goes on in our “Heart/Mind”. That which is going on in our Heart/Mind, determines what we Do and Don’t Do.   Our Daily Nuggets  are telling us two things: 1.  Even if we just accomplished great acts of doing good, what we just did was like filthy rags before God.  2.  We should “flee” the things God hates, and “follow after” the things God Loves.     NOTE:  The things that God Loves all ha

He Leads Me!

He Leads Me!   I’m Covered Because “He Leads Me”.   “Because” the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need.  “He” lets me rest in the meadow grass and “leads me” beside the “quiet streams”.  He gives me new strength.  He helps me do what honors Him the most.  (Psalms 23:1-3)   The Sheep cannot go wrong when they are led by The Shepherd.   Our Shepherd is King of The Kingdom. All Things are Possible in The Kingdom of God on Earth. The Shepherd Makes Sure that all the Sheep’s Needs Are Met!   Shepherd – Guide or Direct in a “Particular Direction”, in “Caring for the Sheep”.   Now, back to our title and subtitle.  The fact that Jesus, our Shepherd, Savior, and King leads us is reason to never hurry and never worry.  Our Shepherd knows what we have need of even before we ask. The Shepherd “Protects” the Sheep and is “Always Willing to Give His Life for the Sheep”.   Our Daily Nugget let us know the He leads us “Besid

Good Stewards of God's Grace.

Good Stewards of God’s Grace.   We Must Not Treat “God’s Grace” as a “Cheap Thing”!   Therefore, since Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the “same mind”, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.  They are surprised that you “do not join them” in the same excess of wild living, and so they speak evil of you.  (1Peter 4:1&4) Be Grateful for His Grace!   Grace – The divine influence which operates in humans to “regenerate and sanctify”, to inspire virtuous impulses, and to impart strength to endure trial and resist temptation. Steward –  Manage or look after (another’s property).   We Treat God’s Grace as a Cheap Thing  when we choose to live like we lived before we “Believed”. We need the “same mind” that Christ had, to do what He has called us to do. Whatever you want, ask God for it, including the “same mind that” Christ had.  The mind that Christ had and the one we need is to b

Thank the Lord!

Thank the Lord!   “Thank the Lord” with your Living not with your Mouth?   I will “thank you” by living as I should!  Psalms 119:7 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to “offer your bodies as a living sacrifice”, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)   The Lord wants us to say “Thank You” to Him. What you “Do” Speak “So Loud” Till “I Can’t Hear What You Say”!   Our Daily Nuggets are letting us know that God wants us to Thank Him by “Living the Way Kingdom Citizens” should live, and that God doesn’t accept our Thank You when our lifestyle is that of Satan and not that of a Kingdom Citizen.  It is not okay to sin, “Love”.   We cannot lead the lost to Christ when we “Live like the Lost”! We must Live Holy and in a manner that is Pleasing to God; “This is Worship”.   New Creatures “must” live like New Creatures.  Jesus gave all Kingdom Citizens this

Soar!

Soar!   Birds can Fly, but the Eagles can “Soar”.   But they that “wait” upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)   Soar – To fly “without effort” and not “lose altitude”!   What does it mean “To Wait on The Lord”? To Wait on the Lord is a “Decision” to “Trust” God’s Way of handling situations and to utilize “Patience” and “Hope” until The Lord comes through.  To Wait on the Lord is to “Believe” that God has a “Comfort for His People’s, Present Dilemma”, and we must not attempt to handle it in our own strength.   Our Daily Nugget is telling us what will happen when we “Wait on the Lord”. 1.      Our strength shall be renewed. 2.      We shall deal with life “effortlessly”, like the eagle “soars”. 3.      We shall run and not be weary, because we are running in God’s strength. 4.

The Secret to Living Holy.

The Secret to Living Holy.   “Walk – Live”, by the Holy Spirit!   But I say, walk (live) by the Spirit, and you “will not” gratify (obey) the desires of the flesh.  (Galatians 5:16)    Just as sure as water flows downhill,  we will “Walk After Whatever” we focus our “Thinking On”. We Will Walk, Live, based on what we have Filled Our Minds With.   How to Walk – Live by the Spirit? Be careful “what you think”, because your “thoughts run your life”.  Don’t use your mouth to tell lies; don’t ever “say” things that are not true.  Keep your eyes focused on what is “right”, and “look straight ahead to what is good.  (Proverbs 4:23-25) Indeed, our living will follow our Thinking.   Remember,  we control “What we Think”, then, “What we Think”, controls us.   God has designed a beautiful life for people; “If” we live it according to His Instruction Manual, The Bible.  The Spirit’s leading will always be in accord with the Bible.  The
