How Do You Know?

How do you Know?   Do You Know That You Know Him?   We “Know” that we have come to “Know Him” “If” we “Keep His Commands”.  Whoever says, “I Know Him”, but does not do what He Commands is “A Liar”, and the Truth is not in that person.  (1 John 2:3-4)   We Can “Know of Him” and We Can "Know Him”.   Our Daily Nugget is letting us know that “If we Keep God’s Commands”, that this “Obedience” is “Evidence” that we Know Him.  His Commands are to: “Love the Lord” and to “Love Your Neighbor”.  Our actions speak “so loud” till no one hears what we say, even God.  Sincerity and Truth must be the foundation of our words, if not, our words are lies.  Our actions or inactions are evidence as to ...

The Two Lords.

The Two Lords.   Jesus and Husbands are “Lords”.   Yet “for us” there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, “Jesus Christ”, through whom all things came and through whom we live.  (1 Corinthians 8:6) Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.  For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the Church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the Church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.  (Ephesians 5:22-24)   Jesus is Lord of all! God Designed “His World”, He “Does Not Allow” Us To Change It. Husbands are the Lord of their wives, Sarah called Abraha...

Thankful.

Thankful. Why Be Thankful?   Do not be anxious about anything, but in “every situation”, by prayer and petition, with “Thanksgiving”, present your request to God.  (Philippians 4:6)   To be Thankful is an act of humility; to not be Thankful is an act of Pride.   No matter how bad things are or how bad we think things are, we all have been blessed, plenty enough, to “Always Be Thankful”.   Consider that we all brought nothing into this world with us and none of us could take care of ourselves, nor could we provide for ourselves.  But everyday God has cared for and provided for us.   Pride – An attitude of self-importance, self-sufficiency, and self-exaltation that ...

The Betrayer.

The Betrayer. There is the Betrayer and the Betrayed.   Jesus taught his disciples that betrayals are inevitable, and that the guilty party “Will Face Great Devastation”.  (Luke 17:1)   Where Betrayal Reigns, Love Doesn’t Reign There.   Betray – To deliver into the hands of the enemy by treachery or fraud.   To betray someone is to “violate their trust in you” to do what you say or to have your interest in their heart/mind.  When we betray someone, “we let them down”, bigtime.  There is the “betrayed” and there is the “betrayer”.  Never try to “get someone back” or “make them pay” because they betrayed you.   Our Daily Nugget is letting us know that it is “inevitable that we ...

Greed.

Greed!   The Love of Money is the Beginning of All Evil.   People who “always” want more and more are like those who “worship statues of god”.  (Ephesians 5:5) People who are “greedy”, covetous, or worship idols should not be associated with.  (1 Corinthians 5:11)   Idolatry is “The Worship of A False god”. We don’t have to “feel” like we are practicing idolatry, to practice idolatry. To Always want more and more, for yourself, is the same as Practicing Idolatry.   Greed – An “excessive” and “selfish desire” for something, such as money or power,               that “goes beyond” what is needed or rightful...

Grateful!

Grateful!   All Things Works Together For The Good.   “Rejoice Always, Pray Continually, Give Thanks In ‘All’ Circumstances” for this is  “God’s Will” for you In Christ Jesus.  (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)    To be Grateful or Ungrateful starts between our ears, through Thinking. I heard a man say, if he had a thousand tongues, he could not Thank God enough.   Grateful – Feeling or showing an “appreciation of kindness”.  Thankful. Ungrateful – Not feeling nor showing an “appreciation of kindness”.                     Not showing gratitude.  Unthankful.   Our Daily Nugg...

Suicide.

Suicide. Just “Don’t Do It”!   Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains, “Because they Rebelled” against God’s Commands and “Despised the Plans” of the Most High.  So, He subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.  (Romans 7:10-12)   Living In “Rebellion to God’s Commands” is “A Living Suicide”.   Our Daily Nugget starts with these Words; “some sat in darkness”, because they rebelled against God’s Commands.  All continued sin is “Rebellion against God Commands”.  A heart/mind that “Repents” from sin and wrongdoing is not living in rebellion to God; but now are “Living in Right Fellowship With God”. ...

Pray.

Pray.   Pray For One Another.   I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with “power” through His Spirit in your “inner being”, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts (minds) through “Faith”.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in “Love”, may have “Power”, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the “Love of Christ”, and to know “This Love” that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  (Ephesians 3:16-19)   The ”Prayers” of the “Righteous” Avail Much.   Our Daily Nugget  is Paul praying  for the Gentiles in Ephesus.  P...

Confessions.

Confessions.   Sincere or Insincere?   If thou shall “confess” with thou mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt “believe” in thine heart (mind) that God hath raised Him from the dead, “thou shalt be saved”.  (Romans 10:9)   Confessions are either “Sincere or Insincere”. To Receive God’s Salvation, we must, “Believe and Confess”.   Believe – To “Trust in Christ” and “Commit” your life to Him. Confess –  The act of “acknowledging one’s sin to God” and “choosing to repent                    from that sin”.   God Honors “Sincere” Confessions, He Does Not Honor “Insincere” Confessions. If we “Plan” to continue the...

Believe.

Believe.   What Does It Mean To “Believe”?   You do well to “believe” in God, Satan also “believes” and tremble.  (James 2:19) Depart from me, you wicked people, “I Never Knew You”.  (Matthew 7:23)   What a waste, for us to Live our Whole Life to find out we are  Not Saved, and Jesus says, Depart from Me, You “Wicked Person”; I Never Knew You!  To Believe and “Not Love” is like “Faith Without Works (Love)”!  Its Dead.   Belief, like Faith, without Love can’t Save.  Satan believes in God, more so, than any of us; but Satan refuses to Repent and to Love.  There is belief that does not lead to Salvation, it is Belief Without Love.  Love is “d...

No Guile!

No Guile!   A Spirit of “Guile” is “Untrustworthy”.   Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is “No Guile”.  (John 1:47)   God cannot use a Heart/Mind Filled with “Guile”.   Guile – A type of “deceit” that is cunning, crafty, or artful.      It can also mean duplicity, treachery, or insidiousness.   To have no guile means you are “honest” and speak Truth, because you have filled your heart/mind with what is Right and Proper.  In the Absence of Sincerity and Truth, We Default to “Guile”. We must “Desire” Sincerity and Truth before we will Live Sincerity and Truth.   Do you desire Guile, or do you desire to Tell The Tru...

Adolescence!

Adolescence!   The Pathway to Adulthood.   When I was a child, I “spoke” as a child, I “understood” as a child, I “thought” as a child: but when I became a man, I “put away” childish things.  (1 Corinthians 13:11)   You Are Just, “Too Old” For All That “Foolishness”! For an Old Person to be “Stuck in Adolescence” is a Shame and a Pity.   Our Daily Nugget is telling us that we “must grow up”. Nothing is meant to last forever.  The past is over, forever; the fruit of adolescence remains.  The fruit of adolescence is a “wise adult” or a “foolish adult”.  Wise parents cannot teach their children to be foolish; foolish parents cannot teach their children to be “wise”.   We Teach Ou...

Time's Up.

Time’s Up.   “For the Wicked”.   When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices, and when “the wicked perish” there are shouts of joy.  (Proverbs 11:10)   The “Wicked” Will Cease from Troubling.   Our Daily Nugget is letting us know that a time will come when things will go well for the righteous and the city will rejoice.  And it is letting us know that a time will come when things will go bad for the wicked.  The Days of the Wicked are numbered.  Repent Now!   The “Job” of the Wicked is to Trouble the Righteous.   Righteous – Acting, Living, in obedience to “The Bible”. Wicked – Acting, Living, in disobedience to “The Bible”.   The Bible “Alone” is...
