Call On Him.

Call On Him.   Pathway To a Victorious Life!   For whosoever call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  (Romans 10:13) And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Joel 2:3)   Pray, Practice, with Patience; in Obeying the Bible. To call on the name of the Lord is Prayer; He richly blesses all who call on His name.    Our Daily Nuggets are the same words spoken by two men, one lived in the Old Testament times, and one lived while Jesus walked on earth, and after He ascended to heaven.  There messages to us are to let us know that “everyone” who “Call On the Name of the Lord” “shall be saved”.    We can call on the name of the Lord, or we can “try” to handle it. The Lord ...

Peace.

Peace.   Would you like Great and Perfect Peace?   Those who “Love God’s Law” (found in the Bible) will have “Great Peace” and nothing will cause them to stumble.  (Psalms 119:165) You “will keep” in “Perfect Peace” those whose minds (Thinking) are steadfast (stayed on Jesus), because they Trust In You.  (Isaiah 26:3)   Great and Perfect Peace Comes From “Right Thinking”.   The world has many ways of defining Peace to them; we often find that the world’s way of peace is an illusion and leaves us disappointed and without hope.  Jesus taught that His Peace is different from the world’s peace, which is often unfair and full of death.  Jesus’ Peace is a “hope” and...

The Deception of Rudeness.

The Deception of Rudeness.   I Gave Them “A Piece” of My Mind; this is a “Weakness”.   Criticizing a “rude” person will only result in insults, and correcting the wicked will only lead to hurt.  So don’t bother correcting wicked people; they will only hate you.  But correct the wise, and they will love you.  (Proverbs 9:7&8) An “evil” person is ensnared by their words, while the righteous escape trouble.    (Proverbs 12:13)   How do you feel, when you’re corrected; happy or mad? To Give Away Pieces of our Mind, we’ll have little if any left for us to use.   Rudeness – A little persons “Imitation of Power”. Being Rude is the fruit of “Wicked Thinking” that leads to “Evil Actions”, being rude is an evil action.  To be rude is e...

Praise Him.

Praise Him.   Never Be Sad; Never Be Troubled.   Why am I so sad?  Why am I so troubled?  I will put my “Hope” in God, and once again I will “Praise Him”.  (Psalms 42:5) The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, (humble).  (Psalms 34:18)   Why am I so sad; Why am I so Troubled?   The Love of The World, and Unbelief in The Word!   Our Daily Nugget is telling us how we can “Praise God” when we are sad and troubled; we “Put our Hope (our Focus, our Thinking)) on God”.  The Bible tells how to have Hope Return to us.  It is through focus.  Whatever we Focus On, we get more of it, good or bad.   Hope –...

Became and Living!

Became and Living!    We were all “Lost In Sin”; Jesus “Found us through Grace.   For our sake He made Him (Jesus) to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the “righteousness” of God.  (2 Corinthians 5:21) This “righteousness” is given through “Faith” in Jesus Christ to all who “Believe”.  There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.  (Romans 3:22)   When the world sees us, believers, it should be to them like they are seeing Jesus.   Our Daily Nugget is telling us that we all are guilty of sinning against God. We had to go before the Judge, God, “unable to pay” the deb...

Complete Unity!

Complete Unity!   The “United Front”, through Prayer.   “My Prayer” is not for them (the disciples) alone.  I pray also for those (us) who will believe in me “through their message”, that all of them may “be one”, Father, “just as you are in me, and I am in you”.  May they also be in us “so that the world may believe that you sent me”.  I have given them the glory that you gave me, “that they may be one as we are one” – I in them and you in me-so that they may be brought to “Complete Unity”.  “Then” the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.  (John 17:20-23)   The Lord Prayed that “We May All Be One”. Jesus’ Prayers Works.  Never Underestimate the...

Born To Die.

Born To Die.   Jesus Did It and So Must We.   You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.  Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.  But God demonstrates His own love for us in this:  While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  (Romans 5:6-8)   We Must Be “Born Again” To “Die For Others”. The Bible says, “It is Better to Give than it is to Receive”.   Our Daily Nugget is letting us know that Jesus died for a bunch of ungodly people; none of us was “worthy”.  The command that God gave to Jesus and that Jesus gives to the Kingdom Citizens is ...

The "Proud " Look.

The “Proud” Look.   The “Fruit” of  “Prideful Thinking”.    There are six things the Lord hates.  In fact, He hates seven things.  The Lord hates the “proud look”, a lying tongue, and hands that kill those who aren’t guilty.  He also hates hearts (minds) that make evil plans and “feet that are ‘quick’ to do evil”.  He hates any witness who pours out lies and anyone who stirs up conflict in the community.   (Proverbs 6:16-19) Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.  It is better to be of lowly spirit with the poor than to divide the spoil with the proud.  (Proverbs16:18-19)   The “Proud Look” comes after “Prideful Thinking”,  it i...

The Secret.

The Secret.   I “Now Know” the Secret.   The “Secret of the Lord” is with them that “Fear Him”; and He will show them “His Covenant”.  (Psalms 25:14)   “All Things Works Together for the Good” of those who “Fear Him”.   The Secret of the Lord is the Covenant that God will show to those who “Fear Him”.  The Covenant is a relationship of Grace, through Faith, made with Christ in His blood.  It is not about following rules to gain God’s favor, but rather “Commitments Made by God to the Believer”.  The more we Trust God to deliver, the more of The Secret we will know, and it will show itself in our living.   Solomon said, Be careful “What” you Think,  for throu...

Brides in Waiting.

Brides in Waiting.   The Brides In Waiting will receive Full Salvation.     Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and once for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to “Full Salvation” those who are (eagerly, constantly, and patiently) “waiting” for and expecting Him.  (Hebrew 9:28)   Salvation from the; Penalty, Power, and Presence of Sin, is Full Salvation.   The first time Jesus came to earth He brought Salvation from the “Penalty” of sin, after his death He went to Heaven and is now providing for us Salvation from the “Power” of sin, through Faith.  When Jesus comes back again, He wi...

I'm Yours!

I’m Yours!   I No Longer, Own Myself!   Do you not know that “he who unites himself (becomes one) with a prostitute is one with her in body”?  For it is said, “The two shall become one flesh”.  But whoever is united (become one) with the Lord is “One with Him in Spirit”.  Flee sexual immorality.  All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.  Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, “Who Is In You”, whom you have received from God?  “You Are Not Your Own”, “You were Bought At A Price”.  (1 Corinthians 6:16-20)    The Spirit World “controls” the Physical Worl...

Nineveh "Repented".

Nineveh “Repented”.                                                                                      Nineveh Was “Saved” from Destruction.   The Word of the Lord came to Jonah, son of Amittai: Go to that great city of Nineveh  and preach against it, because its “wickedness” has come up before me.  So, the people of Nineveh “be...

He's Wonderful.

He’s Wonderful.   So Wonderful, “How Could It Be?   I “praise” you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made: “your works are wonderful”; I know that full well.  (Psalms 139:14) You are wonderful, LORD, and “you deserve all praise, because you are much greater than anyone can understand”.  (Psalms 145:3)   When we were yet guilty of sin, Jesus, the Christ, “Died In Our Place”.   We all owed a debt that none of us could pay; this debt was to God who created and who owns everything, including all of us.  Adam, the first man, disobeyed God and the sentence was that Adam and all people after him became guilty of disobedience, as Adam’s very seed was now contaminated with sin, and needed to be saved. ...

In Our "Own Eyes".

In Our “Own Eyes”.   Wisdom says to “Never Be Wise In Our Own Eyes”.   Be not wise in your own eyes: “Fear the Lord” and “Turn Away From Evil”.   (Proverbs 3:7) Isaiah writes, “Woe to those who are wise “In Their Own Eyes”, and “Shrewd in their own sight”!  (Isaiah 5:21)   The Shrewd Heart/Mind “Trust in Deception”. To be Wise in Our Own Eyes is a weakness, not a strength. To Trust our Own Eyes means “We Have Chosen Not to Trust God’s Eyes”.   Our Daily Nuggets are written by two men that God used greatly; Solomon and Isaiah.  They both are warning us to “Not Look At Ourselves as Being Wise”, in our own sight.  In our society we teach that we should “Have a Positive Mental Attitude”;  Beware ...
